The affair ((Part 1))

As the full moon's light casted it's beauty across the land, It's beams went though the clouds, and into the a large window. Through the window was a bedroom, and in the bedroom two hedgehogs, one laying on top of the other can be seen. A Knight of the Round Table, named Lancelot, a darker and quiet hedgehog. His eyes were closed, but you could tell he was wide awake. He held onto his lover, close in his arms, Sonic, he was a lighter blue hedgehog, with emerald like eyes. Sonic laid on top of his secret lover, with his arms around the waist of Lancelot. He looked tried and out of breath. A thin, pearl colored, blanket was spread out and over them. It was damp with sweat. Sonic purred gently as he rubbed his head on Lancelot's chest fur, he looked at Lancelot's sword that was at rest on it's side on a nearby table.

"Lancelot...." The king lifted his head slowly to look up at his trusted Knight.

"Yes?" Lancelot opened one of his crimson eyes to look at the King, to answer his question.

"Was it wrong... for what we have been doing...?" Sonic slightly sat up and sat in front of Lancelot cross legged, causing the sheets to slide off of their naked bodies. Sonic blushed as Lancelot closed his legs slightly as he began to sit up.

"Well..." Lancelot began, worried that what to say to the new king would frighten him. "It is bad that I'm having an affair with you behind Elaine, The soon to be Queen. You should also know that it's wrong for a King and a Knight to be doing this.." He slowly began to trail off and he gave a short and sad sigh. Sonic's expression sadden too, he didn't want to be wedded with  Elaine, she was just like Sally Acorn back at home... Too clingy and bossy. Plus he didn't want to be married anyways, It wasn't even his call to marry Her.

"But I love you Lancelot..." Sonic started but he felt his cheeks become hot, and he felt tears beginning to swell in his eyes. His voice quivered as he spoke, and Lancelot heard it.

"Sonic..." Lancelot whispered as he lifted his lover's face up in the moonlight, seeing that his King was crying because of his own feelings. "Don't cry..." He pulled the blue hedgehog closer to his chest and wipes away his tears, feeling bad for him he nuzzled his shoulder gently to calm him. "I'll always be here...You should know that."

Sonic sobbed into Lancelot's chest for the rest of the night, until he fell asleep. But what felt like only a few minutes of slumber to him he was soon woken up by the sound of his bedroom door opening.

"Your Highness, Shall I draw you, your morning bath?" Sonic sat up drowsily and rubbed his eyes, he quickly looked to his side to see that Lancelot wasn't there, nor his sword, or his amour.

"Uh huh..." Sonic murmured as he slowly slid out from his sheets, noticing the large amount of stains. "Um... C-can I have my sheets washed? I guess I got so hot I began to sweat in my sleep..." Sonic lied.

"Oh of course Your Majesty, Do you want me to try to make this room cooler at night for now on for you?" The Maid who looked surprisingly like Mrs. Vanilla turned to Sonic with a very warm smile.

"No thank you Mrs. Vanil- I mean No thanks..." Sonic felt awkward for saying that as he watched the tall Rabbit pour the warm water into the tub on the other side of the room.

"Okay dear" The Maid started for the door but quickly turned around to face Sonic as he dipped a leg into the bath. "I almost forgot, Your Majesty, Lady Nimue is downstairs. She wants to discuss the wedding for you and The Princess Elaine" Sonic made a face and sighed.

"Okay, thank you so much for telling me, Once I'm done with my bath I'll go downstairs" Sonic sat down on in the warm bath water and smirked slightly at the Maid to act like he wasn't so pleased to know that he would have to discuss the wedding he was grudging about. The maid left and Sonic sighed, slummed into the water and growled to himself. He didn't want to go see Nimue, All she was going to do was make the pressure of this wedding even worse for himself.

Lancelot walked outside of the castle's walls, with Gawain, and Percival. The three knights walked side by side. They wore their normal attire, Lancelot wore. A Dark gray and red metal visor extending over top middle quill. A dark gray and silver metal torso armor set. Silver metal gauntlets with black and red-tongued metal cuffs, and golden wrist rings. Dark gray lower leg metal armor, along with Dark gray metal shoes with red frames, silver vamps, four jets on each sole, black and red-tongued metal cuffs, and golden ankle rings.

Gawain wore, A redwood and silver metal helmet with visor. A redwood and silver metal torso armor set. Silver metal gauntlet along with Redwood and golden forearm gauntlets. Redwood and silver lower leg metal armor, along with electric crimson metal shoes with gray buckle and green metal cuffs.

and Sir Percival wore, a Golden hair tie. Gray and purple metal visor with sky blue gem on forehead. A gray coat-like torso metal torso armor set with a golden hemline, with a Violet shirt underneath. Gray metal gauntlets on top of her white tights. Gray lower leg metal armor. Metal-plated gray high heeled shoes with dark pink toe caps on both feet.

The three Knights made they way around the large castle, checking for anything suspicious, they didn't find anything luckily. So they made their way back to the castle doors.

"So Lancelot, I am hearing rumors about you and the King" Gawain started and Lancelot quickly pulled his visor down to cover his eyes.

"Quite. I know about those stupid Rumors, They are just rumors Gawain" Lancelot's face became flustered and he walked briskly ahead of his fellow Knights. Gawain stared at Lancelot and smirked at the Dark Hedgehog.

"Oh really? Sure doesn't look like it Lancelot, by the way you're acting" Gawain gave a funny look to Percival but she only rolled her eyes.

"Stop it Gawain, I'm sure you would be troubled if someone made horrible rumors about you, and the king too." She said with an annoyed tone. Gawain listened and slightly blushed in embarrassment.

"Thanks Percival It means a-"

"Father!" A loud but squeaky voice yelled, followed by footsteps stomping on the ground. The Three Knights turned around to see a Silver-white hedgehog running towards them. Shadow lifted his visor to make eye contact with his son who was surprisingly growing up quicker than he was expected to be.

"Look what the cat dragged in..." Gawain complained and turned the other way to walk away. Percival rolled her eyes and gave the white hedgehog a small smile.

"Why hello there Galahad, how are you today on this fine day?" She asked and noticed the pale hedgehog was red in the face and out of breath.

"I'm actually okay today, I was in town and I saw you guys and I wanted to say hello to my father..." Galahad turned to Lancelot and smiled. Lancelot slightly gave a faint nod.

"Oh um... Did you guys here? Lady Nimue is here to discuss the King's wedding with Princess Elaine" Silver looked at Lancelot, and saw that he looked somewhat hurt.

"Oh..." Lancelot thought about what Sonic said the night before and sighed slightly. "Well then I guess I should make sure their topic is only that then..." Lancelot turned and started for the castle doors.

"Wait! Father may I come? I promise I won't mess this up..." Galahad ran up to his Father in his amour, causing the amour to clank and bang together. Lancelot turned to his son to look at him, he studied him and looked at his amour.

Galahad's amour consisted of a silver visor, with a golden hemline, A silver-white metal torso armor set. Silvery gray metal gloves with two golden rings and both wrist, on the  dorsal of his hand has a sky blue circle, that's engraved into the glove, making it easier to use his Psychokinesis abilities. Silver-Gray leg wear, along with metal plated boots, both have golden rings around the top followed by a silvery-gray shaft, Followed by a sky blue toe caps on both boots.

Lancelot stared at his son for a while and sighed. "Fine Galahad, just be quite once we enter the room..."

"Thank you so much, I'll try my best." Galahad smiled widely and ran over to his father's side, the two hedgehogs left the lavender cat to do her own business.

Sonic was now out of the bath and getting dressed, he wore his, light weight, hyper friction resistant red sneakers with a white strap, cuffs and a gold buckle. Along with his white gloves with sock-like cuffs. But he wore a Cape that was a velvety red, at the shoulders it had a golden plate to keep it in place. Sonic looked at himself in the mirror and sighed.

"Well... Here you go Sonic... " He looked at his reflection and turned to the door, opened it and walked downstairs to meet the Lady of the Lake to discuss his wedding.

Sonic walked down a stair case, and down a hallway. He heard Lancelot's voice and blushed slightly, he felt his heart skip a beat and ran after the voice, hoping to see Lancelot again, to speak with him about last night. Sonic found himself in front of the throne room doorway and saw his dark lover. There stood Lancelot, he held his head high, standing next to his son. But in front of the throne stood Nimue, she smiled and held her arms open for the blue hedgehog.

"Sonic The Hedgehog, I have been waiting..." She smiled a sweet smile at him, But when Sonic looked over at Lancelot, his eyes slowly fell to the floor...
